Staff Correspondent: 33 percent buses plying across the country have no fitness certificate.
Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) mentioned this information at its report submitted to the High Court on Thursday.
Lawyer Md Rafiul Islam on behalf of BRTA placed the report before the bench of Justice Moyenul Islam Chowdhury and Justice Md Ashraful Kamal.
The 150-pages report also said that 56 percent buses have no speed regulatory certificate.
