349 cops get awards for best service

Staff Correspondent: A total of 349 police officials have been awarded police medals in recognition of their bravery, heroism, skills, honesty and great service in 2018.
The home ministry issued a gazette notification on Tuesday containing the names of the awardees.
Among the 349 cops, 40 have been honoured with Bangladesh Police Medal (BPM) while 62 with President Police Medal (PPM), 104 with Bangladesh Police Medal Sheba (service), 143 with President Police Medal Sheba (service), according to the gazette undersigned by Farjana Jasmine, deputy secretary of the ministry.
