37th BCS written test results likely in next week

Staff Correspondent: The final results of 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) written examinations are likely to be published by next week.

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) came up with the decision on Thursday.

Examination scripts of candidates have already been evaluated and the work to prepare results is at final stage, according to a BPSC source.

Asked, BPSC Chairman Dr Muhammed Sadique said, “A preparation is underway to publish the result of 37th BCS written examinations by next week. We are working on it.”

The BPSC on November 1 last year published the results of the preliminary examinations of the 37th edition of Bangladesh Civil Service.  A total of 8,523 candidates passed in the examination.

A total of 243,476 candidates appeared in the preliminary examination against 1,226 posts held on September 30 for class one posts under different cadre services.
