4 held over molesting 4 Eden college students

Staff Correspondent: Police on Saturday arrested four employees of a clothing shop at Chandni Chawk market in the city for their alleged involvement in molesting four students of Eden Mohila College.

The arrestees are Nazrul Islam, Alamin, Abul and Nayan.

New Market Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Atikur Rahman told risingbd.com about their arrests.

The OC said the employees hurled abusive words at the mother and two aunts of one of the students when they were waiting for the college girls in front of the shop on Friday afternoon.

As the four went there, the employees engaged in an altercation with them, according to a complaint filed with New Market Police Station this morning. 

At one stage, the employees reportedly assaulted and sexually harassed them, the complaint reads. 

After getting the complaint, police raided the shop and arrested four employees of the shop.
