4 more cases against Khaleda stayed

Staff Correspondent:  Proceedings of four cases filed against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia with Jatrabari and Darus Salam Police Stations have been stayed .

A bench of High Court Division comprising Justice Md. Miftah Uddin Chowdhury and Justice ANM Basir Ullah passed the order on Thursday.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Khaleda Zia filed separate appeal petitions seeking cancellation of the trial proceedings of the four cases.

Advocate Zainul Abedin and Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon stood for Khaleda while deputy attorney general Sheikh AKM Maniruzzaman Kabir represented the state.
