4-tier security in Cox's Bazar ahead of Emerging Cup

Cox's Bazar Correspondent: Cox's Bazar police super Dr AKM Iqbal Hossain said that additional law enforcers will be deployed to ensure four-tier security measure in Cox's Bazar ahead of Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2017.

The police official made the disclosure while addressing newsmen after visiting Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday noon.

He said that tight security measures have been taken in the sports venue, airport, hotel and other spots.

The overall law and order situation is better in Cox's Bazar, he added.

Afruzul Haque Tutul, additional superintendent of Cox's Bazar Police and other high officials were attended in the programme.

The tournament will underway from 27 March and it will continue till 3 April. Eight teams will participate in this year.
