4 top police officials get secy's rank

Secretariat Correspondent: Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Principal of Sarda, Director General of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner have been promoted to the rank of the secretary.

An order signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Kamrul Ahsan of police wing-3 of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a circular in this regard on Monday.

The four officials are chief of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Sheikh Himayet Hossain, Principal of Sarda, Rajshahi Mohammad Nazibur Rahman, Director General of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Benazir Ahmed and Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia.
