40th BCS exam won’t be deferred due to ‘Fani’

Staff Correspondent: The 40th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination will not be deferred due to the cyclonic storm ‘Fani’.
The examination will be held on scheduled routine on May 3.
Dr Muhammed Sadique, chairman of the Public Service Commission (PSC), confirmed the news on Thursday.
He said, “We talked to the Meteorological Department. They said that the storm ‘Fani’ is likely to hit Bangladesh after Friday afternoon or on Saturday morning. So, we have no plan to defer the examination.”
According to the scheduled routine released before, the two-hour long test will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on May 03.
