5 burnt in motorcycle garage explosion

Staff Correspondent: At least 5 people were burnt in an explosion at a motorcycle garage in the capital’s Mohammadpur on Wednesday night.
The injured have been admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
This incident happened on the Taj Mahal Road. However, police could not explain the reason of the explosion.
Mohammadpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jamal Uddin Mir said detectives and police have been investigating the cause of the blast.
The injured are garage employees Ariful Islam, 25, and Mintu, 50,. Besides, Rabiul Hasan Ponik, 22, Ahsanul Haq Ripon,35, and Abul Kashem, 35, who came to repair their motorcycles, were also burnt.
