6 killed as bus plunges into roadside ditch in Ctg

Staff Correspondent: At least six people were killed and 15 others injured as a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Jorarganj under Mirsharai upazila of the district on Monday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Local sources said that the passenger bus fell into a roadside ditch after its driver lost control over the steering around 3:00pm, leaving 6 people dead on the spot and injured 15 others.

Later, injured were sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

Officer-in-charge of Jorarganj Police Station Jahidul Kabir confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
