5 police certificate forgers held in capital

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested five alleged members of a crime racket with 1,290 police clearance certificates.
In a special drive, Serious Crime Investigation wing of the DMP arrested them from Fakirapool area on Wednesday night.
The arrestees are Abdul Barek, Akash, Sabbir Hossain, Shahidul Haq Nizam and Md Morshed Bhuiyan.
According to sources, the crime racket has been forging police clearance certificates in exchange of money for a long time.
Police also seized 577 fake seals of officers-in-charge, superintendents of police and others.
