Secretariat Correspondent: The government is going to transfer 50,000 teachers of newly-nationalised primary schools to old government schools in a bid to ensure quality education.
The government will issue a circular within few days, and this decision will be implemented within March.
According to sources, in last few years the government nationalized more than 26 thousand registered primary schools and nationalised jobs of nearly one lakh teachers of those schools.
Officials of the Primary and Mass Education Ministry said that most of the teachers of recent nationalised schools are not skilled, and many do not have proper training. As a result, education quality of those schools is being hampered.
In this circumstance, 50,000 teachers of newly-nationalised primary schools will be transferred to old government schools in a bid to increase their skill and teaching quality, they said.
