6-7 bullet marks found on attacker's body

Staff Correspondent: Around six to seven bullet marks were found on the body of the attacker, who was shot down by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel in Khilgaon area of the capital.

Abdus Salam, senior assistant superintendent of police (ASP) of Criminal Investigation Department's (CID) crime scene management unit, made the disclosure while addressing media on Saturday noon.

He said, "We collected evidence from the spot and found six to seven bullet injury marks in the body."

Earlier in the day, a man was shot dead during a suspected attack on a checkpoint of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Dhaka city's Khilgaon area around 4:30am.

Meanwhile, two RAB members were also injured in the incident.
