7 drug peddlers held in Dhaka

Staff Correspondent: Directorate of Narcotics Control (DNC) detained seven drug peddlers from capital's Uttara, Paltan and Kamlapur areas.
The detainees include hotel owners, advocate and so called journalists.
Khurshid Alam, Director of Narcotics Control Department said, the law enforcers detained them in a night long raid in the capital on Sunday.
Meanwhile, 28,800 pieces of Yaba pills and a private car were seized from them, he added.
