Staff Correspondent: Customs intelligence seized seven kilogrammes of gold from a Chinese-born Malaysian citizen at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of customs intelligence conducted a search on a flight of Malindo Airlines and held the person with eight gold bars.
The market price of the seized gold is approximately Tk 3.5 crore.
