7 to walk gallows for murder in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A Gazipur court has sentenced seven people to death for killing a man in Rajendrapur area of Bhawal National Park of the district in 2011.
AKM Enamul Haque of Gazipur District and Session Judge court, handed down the verdict on Monday morning.
The court also sentenced five people to life imprisonment and acquitted two others in the case.
The death row convicts are- Razib Hossain alias Razu, Mohammad Kaiyum, Mohammad Razib Hossain, Mohammad Faruk Hossain, Md Shafikul Islam alias Parvez, Md Ali Hossain alias Hossain Ali and Md Ali alias Choto Ali.
According to the case statement, the victim Milon Bhuiyan was murdered on February 26, 2011. He was a businessman.
