72 held in anti-drug drive in Dhaka

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka metropolitan police have detained 72 people over allegations of selling and consuming drugs from various areas of Dhaka.

They were detained over the last 24 hours in raids across the capital, said Dhaka Metropolitan Police Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Obaidur Rahman.

Meanwhile, the law enforcers recovered 3,576 yaba pills, 943 small packs of heroin, and 16.8 kilogram of marijuana, hard drings and 20 cans of beer from them.
