7kg of gold seized in capital

Staff Correspondent: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel seized 56 bars of gold weighing around 7 kilograms from Kalyanpur in the capital on Friday evening.

Meanwhile, the law enforcers also arrested four suspected gold smugglers from the spot.

RAB legal and media wing senior assistant director ASP Mizanur Rahman told risingbd.com that acting on tip-off, RAB conducted a drive in Kalyanpur area around 5:30pm and detained four gold smugglers with 56 gold bars.

Details will be disclosed later through press briefing, he added.
