Staff Correspondent: Detective Branch (DB) of Police has detained eight people for their alleged involvement with leaking question papers of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
Deputy Commissioner (Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter.
The identities of the detainees could not be ascertained yet.
They were detained in drives conducted in different districts throughout Wednesday for leaking SSC questions.
The detainees were leaking SSC questions and taking money from the students.
Details regarding the matter will be disclosed at a press briefing later in the day.
