Staff Correspondent: The results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been published showing 82.20 pass percentage.
Chairmen of 10 education boards handed over the results to Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni at the International Mother Language Institute on Monday morning.
Later, she announced the results at a media briefing there.
The results will be available on the Education Ministry website and through mobile SMS.
A total 1, 05,594 students secured highest grade GPA-5 in the examinations.
A total of 21,35,333 students – 10,64,892 girls and 10,70,441 boys- appeared at the SSC and equivalent examinations this year under the country’s 10 education boards.
In 2018, the average pass rate was 77.77 percent as a total of 20,31,889 students, including 10,23,212 male and 10,08,687 female, appeared in the
