98-tonne UK relief for Rohingyas reaches Ctg

Staff Correspondent: A cargo aircraft carrying 98-tonne relief supply for Rohingya people, who have fled persecution by Myanmar security forces and taken shelter in Bangladesh, reached Chittagong.
The relief goods laden plane landed at Shah Amanat International Airport on Thursday afternoon.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Habibur Rahman, (Education and ICT) confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
UK international aid department officer Mark Queen handed over the relief materials to Chittagong district administration officially.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Habibur Rahman received the goods on behalf of Bangladesh government.
Chittagong district administration sources said that the relief materials include 4,261 pieces of tents.
