‘9th wage board before Sept, 2018’

Senior Correspondent: Ninth wage board for journalists will be formed before September of 2018, said Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu.

“There is a provision to give new wage board after every five year. Five years will be celebrated in September 2018. The ninth wage board will be implemented before this period,” Inu said.

The minister made the announcement while speaking at an inaugural ceremony of Digital Photography Exhibition in front of the Directorate of Information at the Bangladesh Secretariat on Sunday, marking 42nd death anniversary (August 15) of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
