A mistake can create big disorder: CEC

Staff Correspondent:  Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda has opined that a mistake during election result announcement can create a big disorder.

K M Nurul Huda came up with the observation while speaking at a training session on Election Management System (EMS), Candidate Information Management System (CIMS) and Result Management System (RMS) at Nirbachan Bhaban on Wednesday morning.

In his speech, the CEC asked the officials to be involved in the announcement of election results to remain cautious in performing their duties as one mistake can create a big disorder.

“You have to prove yourselves by discharging proper duties in the field following the training accurately,” he said.

EC Secretary Helaluddin Ahmed, ETI Director General Mostofa Faruk, Directors Farhad Hossain and Belayet Hossain were also present.
