AC parts imported with false declaration seized

Staff Correspondent: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) officials seized parts of Air Conditioner (AC) worth Tk 76 lakh imported under false declaration.

The goods on Thursday were seized while acquitting at the port as these were imported as metal pipes with false declaration to evade tax.

Shahidul Islam, director general of CIID, confirmed the news to risingbd.
