ACC Chairman gives 3 months ultimatum over corruption

Staff Correspondent: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmud gave three months ultimatum to the corrupted officials to stop their irregularities, bribery and corruption.
The watchdog chief made the opinion while addressing a view exchange meeting with government officials at Primary Teachers Training Institute (PTI) auditorium in Chittagong on Thursday.
He said that lot of complaints found over teachers transfer, maternity leave, retired teachers' harassment.
I am giving three months ultimatum to solve these complaints otherwise harder action will be taken, he said.
Iqbal Mahmud also said, "We want to see a better generation through our primary school teachers."
Mass Education Director General Dr M Abu Hena presided over the programme where Secretary Mohammad Asif-uz-zaman, Chittagong Deputy Commission Samsul Arefin and others attended.
