ACC forms team to probe artificial food crisis

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has formed a three-member team to investigate allegations of embezzlement of huge amount of money by suppliers and hoarders of products and in assistance with some unscrupulous officers.

The team was basically formed to investigate the artificial food crisis created by suppliers and hoarders of products at the anti-graft body's head office in the capital's Segun Bagicha on Wednesday.

ACC Deputy Director Muhammad Ahmaruzzaman will lead the team.

ACC's Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to risingbd.

The other members of the team are ACC Assistant Director Md Salah Uddin and Deputy Assistant Director Saiduzzaman. ACC Director Syed Iqbal Hossain will supervise the investigation.
