ACC grills 5 AB Bank officials

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is interrogating five senior officials of AB Bank on charge of siphoning off 20 million US dollar.

ACC director Syed Iqbal Hossain and Assistant Director Gulshan Anwar Pradhan started interrogation them around 9:30am at ACC headquarters on Tuesday.

ACC Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumbar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.

The officials are Mahfuz Ul Islam, Mohammad Lokman, Md Arif Neaz, Mohadeb Sarkar Sumon and MN Azim.

The AB Bank officials allegedly laundered money to Singapore through offshore companies in the name of investment.
