ACC sues Ctg MP Mahjabeen, husband and 3 others

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) sued Chittagong MP Mahjabeen Morshed (women seat-45), her husband and three others for alleged embezzlement of Tk 300 crore from BASIC bank.
ACC assistant director Sirajul Islam filed the case with Double Mooring Police Station in Chittagong on Wednesday.
ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
The watchdog filed two separate cases against the five people including the lawmaker and two former managing directors of BASIC Bank.
