ADB to provide aid for Rohingyas if govt wants

KMA Hasnath: Asian Development Bank (ADB) is ready to provide aid on the Rohingya context if the government wants.

The Finance Minister AMA Muhith made the disclosure while addressing newsmen after a meeting at his secretariat office on Monday afternoon.

He said that discussion will be taken place with Bangladesh over the process of aid as ADB is a banking organization.

Earlier, a five member delegation led by Director General of ADB's South Asia Department Hun Kim met the finance minister.

After the meeting, Hun Kim said ADB will provide 8.5 billion loan in several development projects in next five years.
