AL knows well capability of Dr Kamal: Tofail

Staff Correspondent: Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed opined that Dr Kamal takes responsibility to uplift BNP during this hard time. However, Awami League knows very well the capability of Dr Kamal.

The Minister made the opinion while addressing a program at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital on Friday.

Tofail Ahmed said death penalty has been awarded to the killers of August 21. Tarique Zia was sentenced to life in prison. Some of our countrymen, who talked about honesty, joined them.

It’s a matter of sorrow that Dr Kamal Hossain is leading them, Tofail added.

Meanwhile, he firmly said that election will be held in the scheduled time, according to the constitution.

Mostafa Kamal, President of Korea-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry presided over the programme where South Korean Ambassador in Dhaka Hu Kang-il, FBCCI president Shafiul Islam and others attended.
