AL submits financial statement to EC

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Awami League on Monday submitted its audited financial statement for 2016 to the Election Commission (EC).
The financial statement was formally submitted to the Chief Election Commission KM Nurul Huda at Agargaon in the capital on Monday.
Awami League presidium member Dr Abdur Razzak said that the earning of the party is more than expense as usual.
The report shows that the party earned Tk4.84 crore while it spent Tk 3.1 crore last year.
Following the earning source of the party, he said the party earned most amount of total income from the selling of nomination papers, grant and bank interest.
