'AL to overcome budget challenge'

Senior Correspondent: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said Awami League-led Grand Alliance will overcome the challenge of budget of fiscal year 2019-20 with new enthusiasm.

Obaidul Quader made the opinion while addressing a press conference at Awami League president’s political office in Dhanmondi on Saturday.

In reply to a query, he said, “Implementation of proposed budget is always a challenge. We have accepted this challenge. With new spirit, new enthusiasm, the new government of Sheikh Hasina will overcome the challenge.”

Replying to the speech of Mirza Fakhrul, Awami League General Secretary said, “BNP is expressing same reaction over budgets from last ten years. But, every budget is taking the country ahead after implementing it. So, such type of opinion of them is fictional and traditional.”

Awami League joint general secretary Dipu Moni, organizing secretary Ahmed Hossain, Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, Office secretary Abdus Sobahan Golap, Education and Human Resource Affairs Secretary Shamsunnahar Chapa, Women and children affairs secretary Fazilatunnesa Indira and others attended the press conference.
