AL’s reception for PM scrapped

Staff Correspondent: Ruling Awami League has scrapped its decision to accord a grand reception to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina back from India tomorrow following her strict orders.

A press release issued from the Awami League office in this regard around 9:00pm on Sunday confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.

The grand reception to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been scrapped following her strict orders, the press release said.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to come back home on Monday evening, after completing a four-day visit in India – a tour that saw signing of several significant instruments.
