AL's seven-day programme in recognition of Bangabandhu's speech

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Awami League (AL) has taken a seven-day programme as UNESCO recognized the historic March 7 speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as a world documentary heritage.
The programmes were taken at the secretary-level meeting of Bangladesh Awami League held at party President Sheikh Hasina's political office at Dhanmondi in the capital on Wednesday evening.
Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader presided over the meeting.
The programmes include gathering at Bangabandhu Bhaban and placing wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu on November 3, broadcasting the March 7 speech and holding rallies at the educational institutions across the country on November 4 and arranging prayers at religious institutions on November 5.
As part of the seven-day programmes, processions will be brought out across the country excepting Dhaka on November 6, seminars and discussions will be held on November 7, cultural programmes will be held on November 8 and rally will be held at 2.30pm at Suhrawardy Udyan on November 9.
The AL general secretary urged all concerned to make all programmes a success.
