ASP Mizan murder: Probe report submission deferred

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka court on Monday deferred the date for submission of the probe report in a case filed over the murder of Assistant superintendent of police (ASP) Mizanur Ranman Talukder.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ahsan Habib set January 3 as Sirajul Islam, Inspector of Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, has failed to submit the report as per the deadline that expired on Monday.

Earlier, on June 22, the court ordered to submit the probe report.

On June 21, the Assistant superintendent of police (ASP) of Savar highway circle was killed by unidentified assailants' hours after he left his Uttara residence to join work at Kaliakoir in Gazipur.
