Abducted Dubai expat recovered

Staff Correspondent: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-2 have recovered Dubai expatriate Nazmul Islam (23), who was abducted from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport area on Thursday morning, from the capital’s Mohammadpur area.
RAB also arrested two members of an abduction gang in this connection.
The arrestees are Md Foisal Ahmed and Md Nishad.
The RAB-2 confirmed this on Friday afternoon.
A team of RAB conducted a drive at an under construction building in the capital’s Mohammadpur area at night on the same day and recovered Nazmul.
During the drive, RAB arrested the duo who had been demanding a ransom of TK 30 lakh since Nazmul’s abduction.
