Abuse of power: 2 ACC officials suspended

Staff Correspondent: Two officials of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) have been suspended on charges of negligence of duty, misconduct and abuse of power.

ACC's Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to risingbd.com on Monday.

ACC Assistant Director SM Shamim Iqbal was suspended on charges of negligence of duty, misconduct and abuse of power on May 20 and another Assistant Director Bir Kanta Roy was suspended temporarily over allegations of same offence on May 21, Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya said.
