Acid attack on policeman

Staff Correspondent: A police constable sustained injuries after miscreants threw acid on him on Tuesday midnight.

The victim constable Md. Rafiqul Alam of the ACD Bangshal Police Outpost has been admitted to the burn unit at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Officer in-Charge (OC) of Bangshal Thana  Nure Alam Siddique said a man was riding on a motorcycle with two others in the Babubazar area at night and he was told to stop. At this time they threw acid at the on-duty policemen and attempted to flee. One was held from the spot but the other two managed to get away.
