Acting chief justice for upholding image of judiciary

Staff Correspondent: Md Abdul Wahhab Miah, acting chief justice of the Supreme Court (SC), has urged all the justices of the Appellate Division and High Court Division to uphold the image of the judiciary.

The acting chief justice made the call at a full court meeting of the SC held at SC judges lounge on Tuesday.

During the meeting, he urged all the justices to attend the court in time and asked not to do anything that tarnishes the image of the judiciary.

The meeting was held at SC judges lounge at 2:15pm on Tuesday.

All the justices of the Appellate Division and High Court Division attended the meeting.

Earlier at 9:10am, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court (SC) started office under acting Chief Justice Md Abdul Wahhab Miah.
