‘Action against DIG Mizan soon’

Senior Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that the investigation against Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police Mizanur Rahman is in finishing stage. Action will be taken against him soon.
The minister said this while addressing reporters at his Dhanmondi residence in the capital on Saturday.
He said, “Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is investigating against him. I heard that investigation is in last stage in this regard.
“Of course, action will be taken if any prove of corruption founds,” he added.
A three-member team led by ACC director Manjur Morshed is conducting investigation over the illegal wealth of DIG Mizan.
