Additional police deployed at BNP office

Senior Reporter: An additional police force has been deployed in front of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) office at Nayapaltan in the capital ahead of August 21 attack case verdict announcement on Wednesday.

Beside extra police, armoured personnel carrier (APC), water cannon and police vans are also present in front of BNP office.

The law enforcers have restricted entrance of the activists to the office though the leaders were let in.

Motijheel division additional deputy commissioner Shibli Noman said security measures have been taken across the country August 21 attack case verdict ahead August 21 attack case verdict.

As a part of the security measures, police have been deployed in front of BNP office also, he added.
