Addl IGP Rowshan Ara’s body arrives in country

Staff Correspondent: The body of Additional IGP Rowshan Ara, who was killed in a road crash at Kinshasha in Congo on Monday, arrived in Dhaka  on Thursday morning.

The body of Rowshan Ara Begum arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 5:00 am by a flight of Turkish Airways.

First namaz-e-janaza of late police officer will be held at  Moghbazar Noatola Jame Mosque at 2nd janaza at Moghbazar Wireless Jame Mosque at around 12:00 pm and third one at Rajarbag Police Lines SI Shiru Mia auditorium after Johor prayers.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, IGP Dr Javed Patwary, Public Security division secretary of the Home Ministry, and members of police, relatives, friends and well-wishers of the deceased will attend the janaza.

She will be buried at Azimpur graveyard.

She was killed following a collision between a civilian lorry and the vehicle carrying her and others on the way to the Medal Parade of Bangladesh Formed Police Unit (BANFPU).
