State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroz Chumki
Staff Correspondent: Women in rural areas produce sustainable, standard and eye-catchy products but they cannot get benefit from the products for failure to ensure proper marketing of them, said State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroz Chumki.
The state minister made the opinion while addressing as the chief guest during inaugurating the activities of Joyeeta Bandarban at the directorate of women affairs in the capital's Iskaton on Saturday.
Meher Afroz Chumki said the government is undertaking Joyeeta activities to solve this problem of women entrepreneurs. As part of it, the government has planned to set up market place named Joyeeta in every district of the country with its own fund.
Through this, the government will not do any business but give opportunity for the product marketing of the entrepreneurs, she added.
