All educational institutions asked to finish exams by Dec 10

Staff Correspondent: Election Commission (EC) Secretary Helaluddin Ahmed said all educational institutions of the country have been given directives to complete their examinations within December 10 due to the upcoming national elections.

The EC secretary said this while briefing reporters after an inter-ministerial meeting at the EC Secretariat at Agargaon in Dhaka on Wednesday.

“There will be polling centres in the schools during the national elections. Besides, school teachers will work as presiding and polling officials on the day of voting. For this, all educational institutions of the country have been given an instruction to complete their examinations within December 10,” Helaluddin Ahmed said.
