Secretariat Correspondent: Education Minister Dipu Moni said we could have curbed militancy. Actions are being taken to prevent drugs. So, we will also take all possible measures to stop question leakage.

The Minister said told this to the reporters emerging from a meeting of National Monitoring and Law and Order Affairs Committee held at the auditorium of the ministry in the Secretariat on Sunday.

Dipu Moni said, “Several measures have been taken to arrange the forthcoming SSC and its equivalent examinations. The measures include using a special type of envelop to send questions to the exam centres which will ensure whether these were opened or not.”

She said, “Section 144 will be issued around the examinations halls. Alongside, stern actions must be taken against those will spread rumours. Close monitoring has also been started in this regard.”

In reply to a query, the Minister said, “All coaching centres across the country will remain closed for a month from January 27 in a bid to prevent question paper leakage.”

During the SSC exams, no one will be allowed to use mobile phone except the secretary of the exam centers, she said adding that the secretary can only use feature phones, which are unable to capture any photo.
