All-out measures to check question paper leakage: Nahid

Desk Report: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Friday said all-out measurers have been taken to check question paper leakage to hold the forthcoming Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations in a proper manner.

"Stern actions will be taken against those found involved in any irregularities including leaking question papers during the SSC examinations," he told a function marking the silver jubilee of Dhaka State College at Shaheed Park playground in Mohammadpur, said an official release.

The minister said the SSC examinees of this year will have to enter the examination hall 30 minutes before the beginning of examination.

Nahid said all steps have been taken to stop question paper leakage from BG (Bangladesh Government) press while coaching centers will remain closed during the examination.

Seeking cooperation from all to check question paper leakage, the minister urged the guardians and examinees not to chase for collecting leaked question paper.

Nahid said the main objective of the Education Ministry is to build the new generation as the architects of modern and developed Bangladesh.

He said the new generation would have to be well human being with acquiring proper education.
