Annisul Huq's health condition improving gradually

Staff Correspondent: Health condition of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Annisul Huq, who is now being treated in a hospital in central London, is improving gradually.

AKM Mizanur Rahman, Personal Secretary of the mayor, said this on Saturday afternoon.

He said, "He has still been kept sedated in ICCU. His condition is improving slowly as he is being given treatment there."

"It is a medically forced situation. Physicians said it needs more time as it is matter of brain complexities. They are treating him slowly and they see the development," he added.

When asked about rumors got viral over Annisul Huq's condition, he said, "It is totally fake and rumor."

Annisul was admitted to a London hospital on August 13 as he has been suffering from cerebral vasculitis. A medical board has been formed there for his treatment.

It may be mentioned that Annisul has been suffering from the disease for last two months. Though he was taking treatment in Dhaka from the very beginning he felt illness, it was not detected here. On July 28, he flew for London for a family function. There he fell seriously ill and took admission to hospital.
