Another case filed against Dr Zafarullah

Staff Correspondent, Savar: Another case has been filed against Gonoshasthya Kendra founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury with Ashulia Thana on charges of occupying a land and demanding extortion.

Hasan Imam filed the case on Thursday night.

Other accused of the case are registrar of Gono University Delwar Hossain, Gonoshasthya Kendra director Saiful Islam Sishir and Aulad Hossain.

Officer-in-Charge of Ashulia Police Rizaul Haque Dipu confirmed the matter.

Earlier on Monday night, the one Mohammad Ali, a resident of Harirampur upazila in Manikganj, filed a case accusing Zafrullah and three other named and three to four unnamed persons with the same police station allegedly for attempting to grab a piece of land and demanding extortion.
