Another youth loses his arm in Gopalganj

Gopalganj Correspondent: Another youth lost his arm when a speedy truck tried to overtake a passenger bus on Dhaka-Khulna Highway in Gopalganj sadar upazila on Tuesday noon.

The victim is identified as Ridoy Sheikh, 30, son of Rabiul Sheikh.



Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gopalganj Sadar thana Monirul Islam said a speedy truck hit a Gopalganj-bound passenger bus while trying to overtake a battery-run auto-rickshaw in the area. Meanwhile, the arm of the bus passenger was lost and two others were  injured in the freaking accident.

Later, a unit of fire service rushed to the spot and sent the injured to Gopalganj General Hospital.



The victim Ridoy Sheikh is being shifted to Dhaka for better treatment.
