‘Anti-graft movement not possible without integrated effort’

Staff Correspondent: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmud said anti-corruption social movement is not possible without any integrated effort.
The ACC chairman made the comment at a view exchange meeting on an interim report of a study titled “Evaluating and Strengthening the Operational Performances of Integrity Units under the Framework of the CPC” at its head office in the capital on Monday.
The Commission is yet to reach its desired goal to sharpen moral values more against corruption although it has formed a total of 3,715 corruption prevention committees (CPCs) in every metropolitan, district, upazila and union of the country and 25,371 Satota Sanghos in educational institutions. For this, it has undertaken the activities of such study and is implementing, Iqbal Mahmud said.
The ACC chairman put emphasis on the unity among the members of the corruption prevention committee and Satota Sangho saying anti-graft social movement is not possible without any integrated effort.
